Ghana anyone?

Visiting seems to be a major problem. I have heard that you have to take various steps in order to visit. Here is what I know so far:
You have to apply for a visa.
You have to have a passport.
You have to get vaccinations.
You have to get malaria propholaxis.
And of course you have to make your flight reservations and pick the dates to come. Since I am here for two years and if people want to come, I figure the best times are in the summer (rainy season here- but very refreshing) and during Christmas break (dry season- but harmaton so cold at night!). Other than that, I am available whenever, of course. There is not much structure here.
If people want to visit: Big groups are hard to deal with. At least for white people. They like to take advantage and get more money from us. Also we are easy targets for mugging. Therefore, a group of about 4 or 5 white people is about all to make a great trip (get to fill a taxi). Also, 2 or 3 works because we could fit in anywhere and not get cheated.
Honestly, I would love to have people see what I do here and experience Ghana, but it is not a pretty country. If you want to see wildlife or green or both then going to east africa would be your best bet. Here, it's dry and there is dirt in the air constantly (clothes are always full of dirt) and there is no wildlife (well, there is some... just not anything exciting like Zebras or Giraffes). Ghana does have some good qualities though. It's cheap once you get here. Food, traveling, lodging. You would be surprised. Hence the reason we get paid so little. The beaches are gorgeous, especially because no one goes to them (Africans are terrified of water). The culture and clothes are great too. The people love white people (especially Americans- "OBAMA" they always say, "he's my brother!" my eyes usually roll- good thing they dont get facial expressions).
One last requiremnt: Traveling takes FOREVER here. Therefore, coming for a week is almost impossible. You need at least a week and a half, two weeks. Anyone is invited! I would love to have visitors... anyone want to come hang out for a month? Get your moneys worth out of the plane ticket? Heck yeah!!
