Mom, you might want to skip this one...

Hitch hiking. Yeah. I did it. So, not all things that are illegal in the states are illegal here. It is totally legit. Which is great. I don't have to pay for a ride when I hitch. This morning, for example, I walk to the road and the first car to see me stops. Great! I go up, "hey, good morning, I am going to Tamale." Response: hop in (I am translating). So, I tell them that I need to go to the PC office and they say as long as I don't mind waiting for them to make a few errands, they will drop me at the door. Fantastic! I got to see some of Tamale I would never otherwise see. Did I mention that the truck had three guys and no one else? Is it weird that I felt completely safe?! I love this country. Mom, don't freak out! It is totally normal to get rides from strangers here. And I saved some money!

I have no segway into this, but I have to mention it becuase it is so freaking annoying. Wounds. It does not matter what type you have, it takes like ten times longer to heal. I have this bug bite that I scratched the crap out of. So, naturally, it got infected. It has been infected for over two weeks now. What the crap man?! I fell on my knee the other day and it is already infected. No matter what, everything gets infected. Its the mef. I need to stay off the mef. (mefloquin= anti malarial med).

Now that I have been so random on this post... Must be the mef. Which also makes you paranoid. I found out. I might have to talk to the doc about that...
